ABOUT US
Sidmouth Netball Club was founded in 2016 as a non-selective club and we now provide coaching and match play to junior girls aged 9-16. We also have non-training senior teams that provide match play for over 16s and adults. We encourage all girls and ladies who want to enjoy the physical and mental benefits of netball to come along and give it a go, while also making sure we open opportunities for our more able players.
Today we have around 70+ juniors who play across teams in the Exeter & District League, as well as the senior teams who play in the Honiton League.
If you or your daughter would like to give netball a try please contact us:

HOW TO GET INVOLVED
COACHES
We are on the lookout for new coaches to help our club expand and develop. If you are already a Level 1 or Level 2 coach, then fantastic, we'd love to hear from you! Or, if you are a keen novice, we are able to provide funding for you to get your coaching qualifications and join our team.
If you are interested in becoming a parent volunteer who helps manage the teams on match days please do let us know – help is always appreciated!
SNC COACH RECOGNISED NATIONALLY
Everyone involved with Sidmouth Netball Club knows how lucky we are to have Club Founder, Louise Hastie, as our passionate and tireless Lead Coach. Back in 2022, we had national confirmation of just how lucky we are, as Louise was nominated for an England Netball ONE Award.
EN’s ONE Awards provide a nationwide spotlight on the amazing officials, coaches and volunteers who deliver netball in schools, clubs, local leagues and committees up and down the country. Nine regional ONE Awards take place across the country each year with the regional winners invited to a national awards ceremony at the end of that year.
Competition is extremely high and, as reported in the Sidmouth Herald in July 2022, Sidmouth Netball Club were extremely proud to report that Louise Hastie won the South West Community Volunteer of the Year award and then went on to win the National Muriel McNally Community Volunteer of the Year award for 2022!
This is an astonishing achievement for Louise and all those involved in Sidmouth Netball Club since its inception in 2016. To win the award, the nominee must have made an outstanding contribution to netball delivery through coaching, officiating and volunteering. They must also have made a consistently positive impact for change, improving the lives of netballers and encouraging others to join the netball family.
Everyone who knows Louise will be in agreement that her outstanding contribution to netball is second to none and it's fantastic that this commitment has been nationally recognised. However, as Louise said herself, there are thousands of people across the country who similarly dedicate themselves to the development of netball. Congratulations to everyone involved in Sidmouth Netball Club and Netball South West for this fantastic achievement on the national stage.
To be nominated for a national award is an achievement in itself.
To WIN is exceptional.
